Our Beliefs
Equip 28 has adopted the Gospel Coalition’s Confessional Statement. All our Board members and partners subscribe to this statement.
"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
The above Bible verse (1 Corinthians 13:13, ESV) is often called a “love letter.” Written by the Apostle Paul, it is part of his letter and pleading to the Corinthians emphasizing that faith, hope and love is the most crucial element of the Christian life, and without following Christ it simply cannot be achieved.
India is the world’s most populated and unreached country, with hundreds of thousands of villages and communities, many in the most remote parts of the universe, never having heard of the Gospel.
The Need for Action
"And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? "
In Romans 10:14-15 (ESV), Apostle Paul establishes the vital role of evangelism and mission work in God’s plan for salvation. Hearing the message is essential for belief and salvation, and that the message must be delivered by sent individuals.
"...How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news! "
India has thousands of diverse indigenous groups with more than 1600 different native tongues – the Bible has yet to be translated in over 1500 of these languages.

Jesus pronounces salvation for the whole world in the Great Commission )(Mathew 28:18-20, ESV). Before his ascension, he assures us we are not alone in this/our mission.

Translation of Biblical Resources
We coordinate and fund the translation of gospel centered resources in various languages through our ministry partners. Biblical resources in native languages is necessary to gain a clear understanding of the Scriptures. To date, we have arranged certain Biblical resources to be translated in nine different languages.
Distribution of Biblical Resources
We distribute Biblical resources in various languages to pastors and lay leaders. Through our ministry partners, we have distributed thousands of Biblical resources to equip the church in their knowledge, understanding and application of God’s Word.
Pastor and Lay Leader Training
We provide Biblical training and resources to pastor’s and lay leaders to equip them to effectively shepherd God’s people. All training conferences are supplemented with materials/resources in local languages to assist with application.
Other Ministry Programs
We periodically provide other ministry support programs to our ministry partners based on need including new church construction, food distribution, seminary scholarships, and local outreach.
Coming in 2026- Cohort Pastor Training
As part of our mission to strengthen the Church in India, we will be providing pastors and spiritual leaders throughout India with a supportive, collaborative learning model for continuing spirital and biblical training which is vital to ensure the ongoing discipleship of the Church throughout India.

When we Equip the Church in India, many experience Jesus’s love for the very first time, and find purpose in themselves and in helping others. New beliefs spread like wild fire and lead to long-lasting positive changes in families, communities, villages, and their overall socioeconomic conditions as well.
We are committed to equipping and strengthening the Church in India to know, love and worship God…because Jesus clearly commanded us too in the Gospel of Matthew.
